Belt description:

A belt that is the sum of our experience, extensive knowledge and the knowledge of our belt users, gathered over 9 years. This is also a milestone in technological development at Bayonet, thanks to the use of specialized machines for individual stitching.

The main, outer belt, sewn from 2 layers of 45mm wide polyamide tape with a strength of 20kN, is stiff, but not excessively so, allows for a good fit to the figure of the person wearing the belt, does not create a "steel hoop". The stiffness of the main belt allows for convenient attachment of the outer belt to the inner belt using Velcro®, even if the main belt is loaded with ammunition pouches and light equipment. Due to the lack of plastic stiffeners, the belt will never break or permanently deform.

On the outside of the main belt, almost along its entire length, polyamide tapes with a strength of 6kN are sewn in the PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) system for the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment) system. Unlike Cordura, polyamide webbing provides much greater durability and better resistance to abrasion, tearing and dirt. A specially prepared machine, sewing PALS webbing with very strong bolts, allows a single cell to be loaded with a weight of up to 20 kg. A flat and smooth space of 25 mm between PALS cells facilitates convenient splicing of ammunition pouches and accessories. It is noticeably easier than in the case of flat Cordura laser cuts.

The compression (wrapping) system of the adjustable end of the main belt takes up only a small space next to the Cobra® D-Ring buckle. Thanks to this, PALS cells are available almost around the entire circumference of the belt. The Velcro-fastened holder holding the adjustable end of the belt is much more durable than the commonly used rubber loop. The holder also allows for much easier adjustment of the belt length than a rubber loop. Thanks to the possibility of disconnecting the holder from the belt, you can easily put on a pistol holster and other accessories that slide on the belt.

VERY IMPORTANT! The adjustable belt end tape is braided on the buckle in the correct way, according to the recommendations of the Cobra® buckle manufacturer. The belt adjustment range is 15cm, please carefully measure your belt circumference before purchasing, the size should be selected by fitting your size into the selected size range.

The inner belt is made of 38mm soft tape with Velcro sewn on the outside for use around the entire circumference. Put through a simple frame and fastened with Velcro so as to allow for a slight tightening at the waist. It can be used as a stand-alone trouser belt, but it will not replace a good belt with a Cobra buckle.

Safety

Despite the use of specialized sewing, the best threads on the market with certified strength, a certified buckle and certified tape, it is forbidden to use the belt for belay and rescue purposes. No tests were performed on the runway to allow the issuance of a "CE" safety certificate. This is primarily due to the requirements of the PL-EN 358:2002 Personal protective equipment that fixes the position during work and prevents falls from height, so that the belts are at least 8 cm wide along the entire length or 10 cm wide in the lumbar region, which automatically excludes the use of such a belt for trousers and carrying holsters and pouches.

Utility notes

The belt can be washed by hand or in a washing machine, in a delicate liquid, at a temperature of 40°C. C, no spinning, no softening liquids. Dry flat lying down in a well-ventilated room at room temperature. Do not dry in the sun or in an automatic dryer. IMPORTANT! Hard Velcro (hooks) can damage clothes washed together with the belt, Velcro hooks  should be completely covered with soft Velcro for washing. The metal buckle may cause damage to the drum and other components inside the washing machine, please protect it with soft items of clothing. Hard Velcro (hooks) should be cleaned from time to time from threads and hair to maintain its bonding properties, the service life declared by the manufacturer does not take into account dirt and damage resulting from normal use.

We improve our products

Due to small-batch production, the individual elements of the set may differ slightly from those shown in the photos, the differences may concern, for example, the label, the way of sewing. We listen to our customers' feedback and improve small parts without affecting the overall functionality of the product.

Aesthetics of buckles

Buckles are tools and are shipped by the factory in a bulk pack without protection. There may be minimal errors in coloring, slight scratches or micro bruising. Major defects are eliminated by sending the buckles back to the factory. We try to ensure that the belts are of the highest quality also in terms of aesthetics.
